Thus our discussion at times takes into consideration the implications of using language in context–this avoidance is implicit and explicit when we use pronouns… Our understanding and acceptance of vocabulary also differ greatly due to factors beyond our control and influence. Given this reality, how does addressing these realities affect our ability and willingness to communicate about vital topics? Answering this question foreshapes our thinking and opens doors to further exploration in areas specific to religious identity.
